Step-By-Step Enrollment Guide

We're glad that you are interested in continuing your education at WVC! We are currently enrolling for the Fall quarter and look forward to working with you. Please follow the steps below to enroll in Transitional Studies classes at WVC.

1. Complete the Course Request Form

2. Complete the LACES Student Intake Form

3. Attend an Orientation Session

For High School+ Students:

If you believe you have previously earned any high school credits, please send a copy of your high school transcript to transition@wvc.edu so that we can award credit for prior learning and place you in appropriate classes.

Once you have completed this, please call the appropriate office below to schedule an intake appointment.

For ESL Students:

Please call our Wenatchee office at 509-682-6790 to sign up to attend an orientation session. You only need to attend one session.

Orientation sessions for Fall quarter will be held on the following dates: 

  • Tuesday, August 18th 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Tuesday, August 18th 6:00pm-8:00pm
  • Thursday, August 20th: 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Thursday, August 20th: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Please call ahead to sign up for a session. 

Information and Resources

The cost for Transitional Studies at WVC is $35.00 per student, per quarter regardless of how many classes you are taking.

To enroll in Transitional Studies classes at WVC, you must be at least 18 years of age and your high school graduating class must have exited the high school.

If you are between 16 –18 years of age and wish to enroll in Transitional Studies courses, you must first be released from the K-12 school district nearest to your home. To obtain a release form, contact the school district or use the form linked below provided by SBCTC.

Students with F-1, M-1, or J-1 visas are NOT permitted to enroll in Transitional Studies courses at WVC.

Contact the last school district you attended to request a copy of your high school transcript. Contact information for school districts in the state of Washington can be found here: Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction
