Welcome to WVC's Student Grants Center
WVC's Student Grants Center administers a variety of programs that help eligible students with financial assistance, case management, and support services to reach their educational and career goals.
Our offices are located on the Wenatchee campus on the first floor of the Mish ee twie building. We serve WVC students in Wenatchee, Omak, and online.

Our Programs
Basic Food Employment and Training
Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET) is a partnership between Wenatchee Valley College and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services that helps recipients of federal Basic Food assistance (SNAP) access education, training, and support services needed to obtain or upgrade employment.
WorkFirst
WorkFirst is a partnership between Wenatchee Valley College and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services that helps recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) access education, training, and support services needed to enter the workforce.
Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness (SSEH)
Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness (SSEH) provides housing-related financial assistance, case management, and campus support services to students who are currently experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless.
Opportunity Grant
The Opportunity Grant helps low-income students with tuition assistance and support services while pursuing training and credentials for high-wage, high-demand careers in Washington State.
Worker Retraining
The Worker Retraining program helps unemployed, underemployed, or vulnerable workers access tuition assistance and support services while training for careers in high-demand fields.
Student Emergency Assistance Grant
The Student Emergency Assistance Grant (SEAG) provides short-term emergency funding to students experiencing unexpected financial hardships that could prevent them from remaining enrolled in classes.
