TRIO SSS Staff are here to help you plan your transfer to a 4-year program. We are available to go through transfer requirements for your specific program of interest, make the most out of your courses at WVC, consider housing options, find a transfer mentor, and budget responsibly.
Below are some of the most common transfer destinations for our students. Click the links below to learn more about each college's transfer options.
A NOTE ABOUT DEADLINES
- Some colleges have "priority" deadlines. These programs often accept applications after the priority deadline, based on available space. HOWEVER, they often do not have financial aid or scholarships available after the priority deadline has passed. If you have a 2.5 GPA or higher, we encourage you to try to meet the priority deadline whenever possible.
- Other schools have "firm" deadlines and do not accept applications after the date listed below.
- Some schools have separate financial aid and/or scholarship deadlines. Investigate these deadlines or reach out to your TRIO advisor for help.
- Explore your transfer institution's website for more information about their application requirements.
TRANSFER APPLICATION FEE WAIVERS
Did you know that many TRIO students qualify for an application fee waiver? Check with your transfer school to see if they provide a fee waiver form. If your desired school does not have their own form, you may complete the NACAC form here and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll help you get it certified with the registrar at WVC and assist you with the process.
